TracPilot Alpha

TracPilot is designed to be the world's first affordable autopilot for tractors. With TracPilot, farmers can focus on the tasks that matter most, all while increasing efficiency and minimizing human resources.

Thanks to the revolutionary modular system, upgrading an old tractor to state-of-the-art technology has never been easier. TracPilot attaches directly to the shaft of the tractor's steering wheel using the Toolless Quick Lock mechanism. Farmers benefit from enormous flexibility as TracPilot can be switched to another machine in less than a minute.

The advanced hard- and software of TracPilot are engineered in Austria and feature a Swiss drive, making it the ideal choice for farmers looking to modernize their operations on a budget - without sacrificing performance.

TracPilot Omega

TracPilot Omega is control system with 10 Inch touch screen and BUS interface.

Emlid

As a Spin-off from General Laser, Alpha Werke benefits from the expertise General Laser has built over the years as the exclusive European distributor of Emlid RTK receivers.

Real-time kinematics is used when high-level positional accuracy is required. As opposed to the 2-5 meter accuracy of GPS, RTK allows for centimeter-accurate positioning and georeferencing. Over recent years, the rapid improvements in RTK technology have led to its deployment in several industries - including robotics, construction, and surveying.

TracPilot uses RTK to determine the tractor's position with centimeter-level precision.

Ouster

Ouster offers high-performance digital lidar solutions. Lidar (short for light detection and ranging), a technology similar to radar, uses laser beams to generate a 3D model of the environment. In comparison to cameras, lidar sensors calculate the accurate distance to every object and are operatable under harsh conditions like rain, fog, or in the dark.

Since the introduction of the first lidar-like sensor in the 1960s, technology has gone a long way. The recent development of autonomous vehicles like self-driving cars led to booming demand for lidar.

Ouster has become a trusted partner for many companies looking for a reliable sensor operating under any conditions. TracPilot follows up on this example and offers a ruggedized and reliable tractor autopilot.

Agrowing

Agrowing delivers cutting-edge multispectral camera equipment for drones. With Agrowing's technology, farmers collect aerial data that helps them identify pests and assess their fields.

As a European distributor of Agrowing products, General Laser entered the agricultural market, which its Spin-off Alpha Werke now takes on.

Quantum Systems

Quantum Systems manufactures high-tech VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) drones that combine the advantages of planes and helicopters. The German company's drones are used for aerial mapping, inspection, and intelligence services.

General Laser acts as a European distributor for Quantum System's products. Funded by the Austrian government, General Laser developed a VTOL drone in cooperation with Schild & Partner GmbH. The engineering knowledge derived from this project is valuable in the development of TracPilot.
